Trip Planning Questions

What trips have you done this year with at least 1600m elevation gain?

How many times have you done the Grouse Grind or BCMC trail or any of these peaks before?

Do you think you could complete this in under 5 hours return to the chalet?

Are you cool with this being a faster-paced (but easy-going) trip with the intent to make the download time and maybe even grab a beer before??

Participant Information

Crown Mountain is a scramble in the Matt Gunn book listed as having two moderate sections (with not much exposure)

Take the Grouse Grind up (I am guessing <1 hr up), do Little Goat, Goat, Crown, and maybe Grouse on the way back. Skyride down. I have done just Dam so planning to skip that but others are welcome to

I am planning to do this as a very fast-paced trip with only microbreaks and a short summit break (but not trail running)

Maybe we can jog a bit of the flat stuff around Grouse and past Dam, but not sure on else, can run/jog coming down

I am guessing it would be about 1600-1700m cumulative elevation gain, and about 15-16km RT to the Skyride

If we feel up to it we could add in Beauty Peak as well (1401m and probably just a hike up) - probably not though

I am looking to do this fast-paced, but don't want to leave people behind either. But if we have a full 4 people we could split up into a slightly faster and slightly slower group

Also down to grab a drink after at the top! I believe it's open until 9, last skyride 9 as well

My best guess is being able to do this in about 4.5-5 hrs, but maybe I am slightly over-estimating the time
