Do you have a 4x4?

If I don't know you, tell me a bit about your past alpine wanderings.

When was the last time you practiced a head down, on your back, self-arrest?

Got a transceiver?

Participant Information

A pleasant spring wander along a broad ridge on the western edge of Pinecone Burke Park, with some steepish snow near the peak.  The summer trailhead (1300 m) is near the Western end of the Fools Good Trail; November Peak (1735 m) is not quite 1/2 way along the ridgewalk to Seed Peak (2010 m)   Great views down to November and Pinecone lakes.

Round trip distance is on the order of 13 km if we can start at the trailhead.  However As of April 1, there was 1 metre of snow at the trailhead. Plan accordingly and bring skiis or snowshoes. We'// likely be starting at the E-100 turnoff, a couple of hundred metres lower and a few km's back from the trailhead.
