Friday we will hike Sand point trail and spend night 1 at Sand point campground. Saturday we beach walk to Cape Alava Campground for night 2. Sunday we hike Cape Alava Trail back to vehicle and return home aiming for dinner time ish.

You will need (aside from usual backpacking gear) a hard sided bear canister & valid passport. I'll acquire a National Park pass that'll work for my vehicle. They rent canisters at the headquarters if you don't have one.

*UPDATE* I have just purchased 4 wilderness permits. Shane, Sasha, Pat & Aneta are the named recipients. I also made ferry reservations. May 10 from Coupeville 11:45am, May 12 from Port Townsend 3:30pm. I need to pick up park pass on Friday in Port Angeles at ONP headquarters.
