Participant Information

We will be using a couple of gas-powered brush cutters along with loppers, pruners,  rakes, and strong arms to clear the brush from the road to Elphin Lakes.  Please bring gloves, ear plugs, and bug spray as needed.  No need to bring tools as we will have lots.  We meet at St. Davids Church at 7:30 am to drive to the Diamond Head (Elphin Lakes) parking lot to join up with the Friends of Garibaldi Park for a fun-filled day of revenge on those alders that grabbed your skis or whacked you in the face this winter.  An after-kill party may be in the offing. The Diamond Head road is suitable for most 2WD cars.  Plan on working from about 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Make sure you bring a lunch.
