Participant Information

This trip is open to all BCMC Members. However, those who are registered in the BCMC Pilot Training Program may benefit from this hike. This is a "Hiking with Poles (Meters Day)" in Zone 2 (chill pace - low and slow) not rubbing and racing. However, you can go at your own pace and we can all meet at the top for food / coffee / drinks.

Plan is to meet in the Grouse Parking Lot in front of the washrooms at 5:20. We will leave at 5:30, start with a warm-up on the Powerline trail, up Larsen Trail, connect to the BCMC trail and head to the lodge. Go at your own pace. This is not a competition for time but rather to complete a chill workout together. I will ride the gondola down but you're welcome to hike down if you wish but be prepared with a head lamp.

Workout pasted from Evoke Training / Training Peaks:

Aim to hike 800 meters/2600 feet today using poles.

Keep your HR in Zone 2 or below
