This is a follow-up trip for work that began back in June. We probably have about four hours of brush cutting and rock raking from the waterfall area to the Red Heather hut. BC parks will be on hand to move fuel and tools up to where we left off in June. This is more of a tune-up than a major Alder-bashing event so it should be a fun introduction to trail maintenance on the trail that sees a huge amount of use both summer and winter. Whether you hike, ski or bike this road, its a great opportunity to make it a little better for your future activities. We will meet at 9:00 am at the Diamond Head (Elphin) parking lot. Bring your gloves and rain gear. Plan on spending the day on the trail and returning to the cars no later than 4:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to organize carpooling from St. Davids Church. Leaving the Church at 7:30 should get you to the Diamond Head parking lot in time. The 15 km gravel road from Squamish is 2WD accesible.
