Participant Information

Let's kick off the winter season with a snowshoe trip on Cypress Mountain! Eagle Bluffs offers scenic views of Horseshoe Bay, Point Grey and Lighthouse Park. This trail is perfect for all levels, especially if you're new to snowshoeing.

Whether you're an experienced snowshoer or a first-timer, everyone is welcome! Early-season conditions mean we might even be able to tackle the trail with just microspikes, so come prepared for a flexible, fun day.

Details

  • Trail: Eagle Bluffs via Black Mountain (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/british-columbia/eagleridge-bluffs-via-black-mountain-trail).
  • Duration: 4-5 hours.
  • Meeting Time: St David's Church at 8:00am to organize carpooling. The recommended carpooling fee for the round trip is $4.

Avalanche Conditions

We will stay on simple terrain, so no AST-1 or avy gear required for this trip. See avalanche conditions at https://avalanche.ca/map.
