This trip is only open to BCMC Mentorship Program participants. Preference will be given to mentees of the organizer (mentor). The organizer can open this trip to other mentees/mentors if needed.
Trip details: Skin to Brockton Point above the Mt. Seymour ski area. Practice companion rescue. Potentially dig a snow pit and discuss snowpack analysis. Maybe get a few turns in?
Gear: Backcountry ski or splitboard setup. Beacon, probe, and shovel. A hard plastic container to protect your beacon when burying it. Food and clothing for an active day. 10 essentials.
