Participant Information

Sugarloaf Mtn. (2462m)

Access via miller bench.

Ski, split or snowshoe, I am a slow split boarder.

Seeking mellow turns on sugarloaf, Drive up as far as we can, skin up the rest for a easy overnighter /camp at the viewpoint (14km from the very bottom of the fsr). Follow relatively open forest to the ridge line and summit, descend via similar route (14km round trip). Some avy terrain and cornice hazards but fairly chill. There will most likely be some sort of a sled route to follow.

Snowshoes please be aware of your abilities, endurance and speed, your turnaround time is 2 – 3 hours before skiers.

Avy gear is required. chains are required for drivers, Depending on vehicles and driving ability, we will most likely skin some portion of the Fsr. a gpx is available.

Date will be moved according to favorable weather and avy conditions. 48Km approx car to car from the bottom of the Fsr, we will most likely be doing less than that.
