We will be touring approximately 30km, then doing a winter ascent of the short chimney of Black Tusk. Peter will be bringing a rope and anchor. Please bring a harness, crampons, rappel device & backup (Prussick), gloves, ice axe (if you have access to climbing-style axes please bring them, though we can share tools as well.)
Be prepared for a long day with plenty of food, water, layers, and a headlamp. Conditions on the ridge can be vastly different than lower down, and we will re-assess avalanche and weather conditions frequently throughout the day.
