For those wanting to car pool from Vancouver, I suggest leaving from St. David's Church (Taylor Way & Upper Levels) by 7:15 AM.

This will be a moderate day hike, with suitable equipment, fitness, and skill required. The goals are to hike up one, two, three, or even four of the Chief's summits (not counting the Acrophobes), and fly a big Canadian flag from as prominent a location as feasible. We have one that is 3 x 6 m, and might have one that is 6 x 12 m for Tuesday.
It's not a climbing trip as such, but if those with climbing skill and equipment can bring it, please do - it may help with flag things.
Afterwards perhaps we'll have a picnic or something.
