Participant Information

The trip will begin at Cypress and go to Porteau Cove. We would aim to leave the Cypress Parking Lot by around 6:30am, so likely will need to do a car drop in Porteau Cove prior to that.
I usually plan to do the trail in around 9 hours, fast hiking the hills and technical areas, and jogging on the flats and descents. The occasional break for water/food/scenery are welcome, as there will be no FKT here, but rather a nice day out in the mountains.
The route is around 27km with approximately 2500m elevation gain. It has some sections that are technical and others that are scrambly, so experience with both is essential in order to be fast and efficient.

Gear:

Running pack, poles, trail running shoes, sunglasses, water and food, 10 essentials, bear spray.
