Class is in session! During the workshop, we will focus on rescue skills, particularly anchor building and hauling systems. However, there is more to glacier travel than just rescue! Ortovox has some excellent online material in their Lab Ice Safety Academy. Please review the following before the workshop:

Rope Team and Glacier Travel
Rescue (incl anchors and hauling)
The VOC also has their glacier manual which is useful but a bit dated. Consider this as a supplementary resource.
