Participant Information

Blackcomb Backcountry to Disease Ridge or Spearhead glacier depending on the visibility, and will move in relaxed/moderate pace. Avi condition: Moderate to Considerable expected. Lightly snowing with low visibility, so low-light lens would help. Meet: North Van, 06:15 (or) St David's, 06:15 (TBD) Mandatory Equipment: Beacon, shovel, probe, and other essentials Walkie Talkie (set to channel 18, Privacy 20) AST certification not mandatory Epic pass or purchase a backcountry ticket (47$ if the same as last year) at Blackcomb base (we will park at upper lot and ski down to Blackcomb base) Carpool 20$/person
