Catching the first lift up to access the groomed access road, we will head up into the most appropriate area depending on the Avalanche forecast.
Full disclosure, I have yet to ski the zone, so would love to have someone come who has.
This will be a conservatively oriented day with an assessment mindset. Also, if the hazard rating is HIGH or above, S2S Gondola will not allow skis to be uploaded. If that is the case we could pivot and pick something else nearby.
I tour at a moderate pace, and have solid backcountry experience.
You must have AST 1 minimum and beacon, shovel and probe.
Meet at St David's if needed to carpool, I can take 3 in my truck.
