We will set up camp at the Driftwood Bay recreation site on the shore of Lillooet Lake from Friday night to Sunday night, with an opportunity to put in one to four days, cutting back the brush on the trail to Lizzie Lake. There will be lots of opportunities to use the power tools or toss debris. This trail leads to the historic Lizzie Creek Hut, and the start of the Stein traverse. The area boasts excellent hiking among the scrambly peaks and azure tarns. Your efforts will be appreciated by many. This is also BC Trails Day (June 1) and an excellent opportunity to give back to the outdoor community, or just get even with the alder. The campsite is about 15 km down the In-Shuk-Ch FSR, which is well graded and car-friendly.
