BCMC is organizing this Climbing Safety Clinic and it will be led by Eric Hughes an ACMG Rock Guide.

Clinic Details:
The goal of this clinic is to provide BCMC mentors and top climbing trip organizers with an opportunity to learn and practice skills such as cleaning anchors, rappelling, lowering, etc., with a certified ACMG Rock Guide. If you have a specific topic related to climbing safety that you would like to review with Eric, please share it in your response to "Questions for Participants" when you sign up for the trip.
BCMC will cover the cost of this clinic. The expectation is that the trip participants practice these skills with their mentees and other BCMC members to improve climbing safety. All participants in this clinic will also receive a copy of the 2025 (latest) AAC Accidents in North American Climbing book (digital copy).

Trip participants are expected to bring their personal climbing gear as well as gear for anchor setup, cleaning and rappelling. Please come prepared for a full day of climbing instruction.
