Let's go climb at Area 44 or the Pillary! I'm assuming it will have dried by Sunday. Back up options would be to find a crag in Smoke Bluffs or Murrin Park if things look to get wetter than forecasted on Friday.
There are lots of sport climbs graded 5.9 to 5.11. Beginners are welcome.
What to bring
- Climbing shoes.
- Harness.
- Helmet.
- Belay device.
- Food and snacks.
- At least 2 litre of water.
- Warm layers.
- Rope (optional).
- Quickdraws and anchor material (optional).
I'll set up a WhatsApp to coordinate carpooling for those who need. I can take up to three squeezed in the back and could pick up from Lonsdale quay. Can also set a meeting point at St Davids church lot.
Please answer the screening questions when signing up to help plan and make sure we have enough equipment :-)
