Where is my beautiful car? Where is my beautiful wife?
Just a minute's walk past the world famous Frontside 180 is the climb 'How Did I Get Here', a 5.8 multipitch sport climb. It sees less attention than its celebrity neighbour, though not for lack of aesthetic and interesting climbing. I have done this route many many times, and I'm quite comfortable leading this route in its entirety. I would be happy to bring up two people, though I will open this trip up to more people if another leader shows up. All that said, it is a multipitch climb, which isn't a great venue to learn to climb. So, preference will be given to experienced climbers.
A later start will mean that the rock will warm up a bit and maybe even dry out on the first pitch! No worries: much of this climb is in the sun. Expect a chill day with an anticipated chill out session on the summit of Mt. Chek. And you may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?
We can meet at St David's Church at 10AM. Come on down and lets climb some easy Chek slab! Expect to take 4-6 hours for the climb itself. Hopefully we will beat the Whistler Exodus crowd, but that seems a bit unlikely.
