Guided Courses Information
The BCMC strongly recommends that all participants verify the certifications of their Guided Instructors. Additionally, here is an overview on ACMG Mountain Guides.
Winter Trip Safety Standards
For winter trips and trips exposed to avalanche risk, the BCMC standard is for all trip participants to have the essential safety gear (avalanche transceiver, metal shovel, probe) and relevant avalanche safety skills (bare minimum: AST 1 or companion rescue skills).
30-Day Guest Membership
