The Club maintains a library with an extensive collection of photographs, guide books, and periodicals on mountaineering. It is open to the use by members and details about the collection and its use can be obtained by contacting the club's library custodian, Waldemar Jonsson.
Also note that the BCMC has an extensive archive collection consisting mainly of written materials and photographs, dating since around 1905. This collection has been catalogued and organized, and photographs put into electronic format. All materials have been placed into the North Vancouver Museum and Archives, where they are available for viewing by the public. Additional information: The BCMC Archives.
The Club produces six issues per year of its Newsletter. The newsletter contains club news, trip schedules, access information, trip reports and other news. Note: club members can view the BCMC Newsletter online.
The club journal, The B.C. Mountaineer, is produced every two years and contains accounts of recent climbs, camps, expeditions, photographs and other material. The Club solicits articles of interest written by members. Note: club members can view The B.C. Mountaineer online.
