All BCMC Trips, Courses and Events Cancelled Until Further Notice
March 18th, 2020 - Due to the Covid 19 Situation, all BCMC Cabins Are Closed
BCMC & VIMFF present an evening with climbing legend Jim Donini, plus a screening of On The Verge, climbing in the backcountry of Powell River, BC.
Description
The Fall/Winter course registration dates were changed to open on Monday November 4th and include:
- Intro to Backcountry Skiing on Dec 22, Dec 29 (FULL), Jan 4, Jan 12, and Jan 26.
- AST-1 (Avalanche Skills Training) on Dec 28-29, Jan 4-5, Jan 18-19, and Feb 1-2.
- AST-2 (Advanced 40hr Avalanche Skills Training) on Feb 8-9 and 15-16.
The Intro to Ice Climbing courses remain scheduled for a later registration date.
