BCMC Social Event

Tuesday March 12th BCMC Social Event

Adventures in the Rockies

by Shaun Luong

Doors @7:00 PM at the ANZA Club

Social Event @7:30 PM

Between British Columbia and Alberta lies one of the most photographed mountain ranges in North America - The Canadian Rocky Mountains.

What would it be like to have the Rockies as your playground?

BCMC member Shaun Luong played in the Rockies for years before moving to Vancouver. Come hear about the highlights of his adventures in the Rockies, including alpine climbing in the Bugaboos, trad climbing on Mt. Yamnuska, skiing the Bow-Yoho Traverse, ice climbing in Banff National Park, and summiting Mt. Robson.

The Social will take place at the Vancouver ANZA Club main floor (corner of 8th Ave and Ontario) on Tuesday, March 12th. The entrance door will open at 7 pm and we will begin the evening at 7:30 PM with an Update from the Executive. Please note: you must be 19+ years old to attend and may be asked to sign-in at the door to ensure we don't exceed 117 people in the hall. Once at capacity we will be forced to turn attendees away. Feel free to grab a drink at the bar before the social starts.
